Ensuring advanced knowledge and education in the field of osteoporosis among physicians in Kuwait, KOPS organized in collaboration with the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD), the ISCD’s Osteoporosis Academy course. The course contained several lectures and workshops to deliver advanced understanding of pathophysiology, detection and management of osteoporosis based on latest literature and clinical evidence. The course was attended by more than 200 participants from different fields of medical care including family medicine, general medicine, endocrinology, rheumatology, orthopedics and radiology.
