In an effort to contribute to local society, KOPS have collaborated with Al-Fatat Sport Club to celebrate the World Osteoporosis Day with a public event on Nov 9, 2014 with the prestige attendance of her H. Sheikha Fariha Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, President of the Kuwait Association for The Ideal Family and Chairman of Al-Fatat Sport Club. The event included several educational lectures in Arabic presented by KOPS board members, Dr. Nadia Al-Ali, Vice President, Dr. Thamer Alessa and Dr. Abdulrazaq Al-Obaid, KOPS members. Also in the event, there were consultations, educational handouts distribution and examination for ankle bone density by ankle ultrasound. The event was attended by a large group of audience.
